Air Force unable to contain CBU in Game Two loss

Sam Kulasingam and Jay Thomason were each 2-4, with Kulasingam knocking a double and a triple with a RBI.
Gabriel Garcia extended his hitting streak to 11-consecutive games in the 3rd, lining a RBI single into center field. The senior also managed a sacrifice fly in the 1st to lead the Falcons with two RBI.
Starter Kyle Moats lasted just one-plus inning, allowing eight runs as the result of nine hits and two strikeouts. The Lancers scored at least a run in each of the first five innings, while California Baptist's Chad Castillo managed to hit for the cycle by the 5th inning.
The Falcons saw four runs cross in the 1st, though Garcia's sac fly trimmed the lead to 4-1. The Lancers then reeled off five runs in the 2nd, creating a 9-1 lead after two. Eventually California Baptist added another run in the 3rd to put Air Force down 10-1.
Air Force's biggest inning was the 3rd, as a Kulasingam RBI double, Garcia's RBI single, and a wild pitch were all part of a three-run inning to cut the lead to 10-4.
However, the Lancers went on the score the game's next 11 runs.
Game Three will take place Sunday, April 10, with first-pitch scheduled for 12 pm MT.
