Air Force Milers Close Out Action at the Husky Classic

SEATTLE, Wash. -- Highlighted by five improvements to the Academy's all-time standings, eight Air Force milers wrapped up action at the Husky Classic this afternoon (Feb. 15) in Seattle.
Sophomore Dominykas Remeikis paced a trio of Falcons in the men's event, as he finished just shy of his career best (4:03.31) to place 38th in the 113-runner field. Ethan Ashley lowered his time to 4:04.27 – a mark that moved the junior up to No. 14 in the Academy Record Book and placed him 42nd in the competition, while classmate Ben Scheller debuted at No. 22 in the all-time standings following a 49th-place time of 4:05.41.
On the women's side, sophomore Camryn Bodine finished 48th out of 121-runners after crossing the finish line in 4:50.50 – a mark just shy of her personal best, while senior Ally Peterson posted her second-highest time of the season (4:54.09) to finish 69th. Senior Halle Hamilton, finishing right behind Peterson, dropped her best to 4:54.15 to improve her No. 20 all-time mark, while freshman Jasleen Sidhu and sophomore Anna Harden debuted on the program's record book after posting respective times of 4:54.78 (No. 23) and 4:55.63 (No. 25).
The Falcons are off from competition until Feb. 27, when they travel to Albuquerque, N.M., for the 2025 Mountain West Indoor Track and Field Championships.
