
Air Force's Matthew Doty Named MPSF Male Athlete of the Week

WOODLAND, Calif., - Air Force men's swimmer Matthew Doty was named the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Male Athlete of the Week, as released by conference officials on Tuesday evening. This marks the Falcons' first weekly award of the 2025-26 season and Doty's first career selection.
The freshman helped Air Force to a dual win over Grand Canyon, 208-155, last weekend and held the high point with 19 points. He recorded a pair of individual first place finishes and personal bests, along with three CSCAA standard cuts.
In the 400 IM, the Davidson, N.C., native took first with a personal best and CSCAA A standard with a time of 3:49.99. He earned a CSCAA B standard and another personal best after touching the wall at 1:48.02 in the 200 IM for the gold. After clocking a time of 2:02.39, Doty placed fourth and added one more CSCAA B standard, along with a season best time in the 200 breast.
