
Omar Emara Named MPSF Men’s Fencer Of The Week

USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - Senior Omar Emara of Air Force was named the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Men's Fencer of the Week for competition during the week of Nov. 16-23, announced today by the conference office. This is the second career MPSF FOW honor for Emara.
Emara, a native of Arcadia, Calif., posted a team-high 19 wins in men's epee at the Western Invitational. He went 3-0 five times, including a 11-7 record against ranked opponents of #1 Columbia, #5 Ohio State, #11 Stanford and #15 UC San Diego.
Emara went 6-0 against MPSF opponents.
Air Force earned nine team wins, including three over ranked opponents, as the host institution last weekend at the Western Invite.
