Backed by the first-ever 20-meter throw from a service academy athlete - and the third-best throw in Mountain West history (Air Force Record, 20.25 meters), Texas Tanner finished fifth in the shot put at the NCAA Indoor Championships. The senior finished the weekend with All-America honors in both throwing events, earning first-team status in the shot put (fifth) and second-team honors in the weight throw (14th).
