Scott Hughes is currently the athletic trainer for the water polo and spirit programs. Hughes came to the Academy in 2001 after spending time working in manual therapy clinics in Colorado. Originally from Arvada, Colo, Hughes also has previous experience at the high school level in Michigan and Colorado and at the University of Northern Colorado.

He maintains a PES certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Hughes enjoys climbing, hiking, camping and spending time with his wife and two sons.
