Air Force Women Achieve Third Straight Top Three MWC Finish
On October 27, the Air Force women's cross country team placed third in the Mountain West Conference championships. Although the Falcons were disappointed that the team did not finish higher individually, it has the distinction of being the only women's team in Academy history to have three straight top-three conference finishes since going Division I. On October 27, the Air Force women's cross country team placed third in the Mountain West Conference championships. Women's Cross Country Team Placed 22nd at NCAA Pre-Meet
The Air Force women's cross country team placed 22nd with 552 points at the NCAA Pre-Meet at Furman University in Greenville, S.C.
Colorado's men's team won the meet with 62 points followed by Notre Dame with 172. The women from Georgetown won with 48 points followed by Michigan State with 118. (more)

Five Falcons Ranked in the MWC Top 20
When the Mountain West Conference released its best times list for the week of Sept. 25, five Falcons were ranked in the top 15, they are Jean Taylor, #10, Elissa Ballas, #12, Brandess Pardue, #13, Kelly McPherson, #14 and Lara Coppinger, #15. (more)
