USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - With her final dig on Thursday, Nov. 2, Air Force senior libero Maiya Perich set a new Academy Division I record for digs in a single season (401). The tally bettered the previous mark of 400 that she set last season.

Perich, who also holds the Academy's Division I records for career digs (1276 to date) and single-match digs (36), finished the Thursday's match with 17 digs, which bumped her over the standard she had set last year. In fact, in each of the past two years, Perich has accounted for more digs in a season than any other Air Force player since 1999

The senior will continue to add to her totals next week, as the Falcons travel to San Diego State (Nov. 8) and Nevada (Nov. 10).
