SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS
With a 10-6 overall record, Northern Colorado is undefeated (5-0) at home this season ... in fact, the last time the Bears lost at home was in 2001 ... since back-to-back losses at BYU and Utah, the Bears have picked up five wins in their last six outings ... UNC has played five Mountain West Conference teams this season (2-3) ... Erin Deffenbaugh leads the program with 267 kills and a 4.45 kills per game average, while three others have also notched over 130 kills and average more that 2.25 a game ... four Bears have recorded triple-digit dig totals, while seven have notched over 20 blocks.
LAST TIME OUT
Playing one another for the first time in nine years, Air Force dropped a three-game match to Northern Colorado earlier this season in the Falcons' home opener. UNC narrowly edged the Falcons in game one (31-29), before taking the next two games with matching 30-25 scores.
Prior to the match earlier this season at the Academy, the two programs had not faced each other since 1995, when both schools were Division II ... UNC defeated Air Force 3-1 in that match-up ... Air Force's last victory was a 3-2 win in 1994 ... UNC leads the overall series 42-15.
