SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS - DENVER (6-6)
After splitting a pair of Sun Belt Conference road contests last weekend, Denver is 6-6 on the season overall, but are a perfect 3-0 at home this season ... with a 4.39 kills per game average, sophomore Lisa Hunter leads the Pioneers in that category, while Sarah Adamis leads the squad in digs, averaging nearly four per game ... Denver returns 10 letterwinners and three starters from last season's squad that finished 18-14 overall.
LAST TIME OUT
Last season, the Falcons claimed a 3-1 victory over Denver at the Cadet East Gym, backed by strong attacking from then-senior Delavane Diaz. The Falcons took the first two games with scores of 30-25 and 30-21, respectively. After dropping the third game by a narrow 30-28 margin, Air Force responded with authority in the fourth game to put the match away, holding the Pioneers to just 11 points.
