HISTORY 101: Wyoming was the site of Air Force's last road victory in the Mountain West Conference. The Falcons defeated the Cowgirls in straight sets to close out the 2003 regular season in Laramie. That season, the Falcons picked up a regular season-sweep of the Cowgirls. That was Air Force's first such sweep since 1999 (also against Wyoming).

ONE AND DONE: This weekend marks the first time that Air Force has not played Wyoming and Colorado State on back-to-back days.  With the new nine-team format of the conference, the Falcons will play Wyoming on the road this Thursday prior to returning to the Academy to face Colorado State on Oct. 6.

THE CALM BEFORE THE STORM: Air Force will have another single-match week coming up before the brunt of October's schedule gets underway. Following its Oct. 6 match with Colorado State, the Falcons will play seven matches in a 12-day span.

BOOK IT: Freshman Jocelyn Booker has boasted the Falcons' top hitting percentage in four of the last six matches, including two that cleared the .350 mark. Booker connected on a season-best nine of 16 attempts with just three errors against the Lobos.

RANDOM STAT: Air Force has ended with 18 points in at least one game during six of its first 12 matches, including the last four straight. Four of those 18-point outings have come in the first set. The Falcons' other common number is 17, which they have reached five times.

BY THE NUMBERS: 16 of the Falcons' 21 players have seen game action. 11 of those have registered at least five kills, 10 have accounted for at least one assist, 10 have tallied at least one ace,14 have registered at least one dig and 11 have accounted for at least one block.

ON THE HORIZON: Despite opening the conference season 0-2, upcoming opponent Colorado State stormed back into the MWC race after sweeping New Mexico and TCU this past weekend. The Rams are off from competition until Sunday (Oct. 1) when they travel to Wyoming.  CSU will also face Denver on Oct. 4, prior to traveling to the Academy on Oct. 6.

TRACKING THE FALCONS: With the switch to the new GoAirForceFalcons.com, Air Force faithful will be able to follow the game live on the internet with CSTV GameTracker.  All home matches will now be available on the website, as well as several road contests.  This Thursday's showdown with Wyoming will be available on GameTracker.
