Air Force at Wyoming Match to be Televised

    COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The Air Force volleyball team's Oct. 30 match at Wyoming will be televised by The Mtn. - Mountain West Sports Network, the conference office announced today (July 14). It will mark the second regular season television appearance for the Falcons, who made their debut during last season's match with the Cowgirls in Laramie.

    The conference's 2008 volleyball television schedule features an unprecedented 11 national appearances for the league. The Mtn. - MountainWest Sports Network will air eight matches, while CBS College Sports Network will broadcast three.

    The first television broadcast of 2008 will feature BYU at New Mexico on Thursday, Oct. 2.

    DIRECTV, the nation's leading satellite television service provider will launch the MountainWest Sports Network - The Mtn. on Aug. 27. The Mtn. will be available on channel 616 on DIRECTV CHOICE and above packages for the states servicing Mountain West Conference institutions (Colorado, New Mexico, Nevada, Utah, Wyoming and the designated market areas of Dallas/Fort Worth and San Diego). Customers throughout the remainder of the country will be able to access The Mtn. with a subscription to DIRECTV's Sportspack.
