Air Force Volleyball Announces Spring Competition Schedule

    USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - Air Force volleyball head coach Matt McShane announced his team's 2010 spring exhibition schedule today. The Falcons are schedule to play four dates over the next three weeks, including a mid-week match at local rival Denver on Wednesday, April 14, at 7 p.m.

    The Falcons open spring action on Saturday, April 10, in Scottsbluff, Neb. In addition to facing host Western Nebraska, Air Force will also take on Creighton, Northern Colorado and Colorado State.

    Air Force will then head up Interstate-25 for the mid-week meeting with Denver on Wednesday, April 14, before traveling to Laramie, Wyo., for another tournament on Saturday, April 17. The Cowgirls' tournament will feature Northern Colorado and a pair of split squads from Wyoming.

    McShane and the Falcons will close out the spring schedule on Saturday, April 24, when they travel to Fort Collins, Colo. The teams for this all-day tournament haven't yet been determined, but will include Northern Colorado and host Colorado State.
