Air Force Volleyball Places Two on MWC All-Academic Team

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Junior Kim Kallabis and sophomore Jasamine Pettie were named to the Mountain West Conference All-Academic Team, the conference office announced on Feb. 1.

 

Kallabis made her third consecutive appearance on the all-academic team list, behind a 3.66 grade point average in mathematics, while Pettie is making her first incursion on the list with a 3.08 GPA in civil engineering.

 

A total of 363 student-athletes were named to the fall 2006 Academic All-Mountain West Conference team. Fall sports include cross country, football, soccer and volleyball. To be eligible for selection, student-athletes must have completed at least one academic term at the member institution while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better, and be a starter or significant contributor on their athletic team.
