2005: Played in 97 games...was in the starting rotation for 22 matches...collected 93 kills on the year...posted a team-leading .471 hitting percentage against San Diego State, tallying a career-best 10 kills on 17 attempts (while committing just two errors)...recorded 12 assists and 12 digs on the season...collected solo blocks against The Citadel, San Diego State, TCU and again versus the Horned Frogs in the Mountain West Conference Tournament...also recorded 29 assisted blocks...registered first collegiate kill at UNC-Wilmington, going one-for-one...nearly added a double-digit kill total versus New Mexico, putting down nine...one of four freshmen to see action in inaugural match...earned the team's Rookie of the Year award, as well as the Most Improved Award.
