    Taylor Parker Named Air Force Athlete of the Week

    Parker accounted for a league-leading .722 average in the Falcons' win over Boise State.

    FRESHMAN YEAR | 2012: Played in 70 sets...was in the starting rotation for 19 matches...one of three freshmen to open the season in the starting lineup...ranked second on the team with 62 total blocks (five solo, 57 assisted)...recorded first solo block in debut at Rice...added individual blocks against Army, Fresno State, San Diego State and Nevada (one each)...tallied a career-best six assisted blocks during three meets (Army, Fresno State, New Mexico)...recorded 95 kills, highlighted by a career-best 13 against Nevada...also recorded a personal-best .417 hitting percentage (13k-3e-24a) during that match...hit over .200 for the season (.206)...also accounted for 18 assists and 13 digs...tallied a career-best four helpers against Denver and a personal-best three digs against Nevada.
