    Air Force Adds 11 to Volleyball Team

    The recruiting class earned High Honorable Mention distinction from PrepVolleyball.com.

    JUNIOR YEAR | 2014: Team captain.

    SOPHOMORE YEAR | 2013: Earned the team's Most Improved Award...saw action in 119 of 120 sets...was a member of the starting rotation 10 times...ranked second on the team with 332 kills, including 232 in conference action...accounted for a team-high 19 kills at Fresno State...recorded 18 kills in the Falcons' upset of Long Beach State...led the team in kills during 11 matches...accounted for double-digit kill totals in 19 contests...recorded at least 15 kills in road matches at Fresno State (19) and San Jose State (15), during home contests against San Jose State (17) and Boise State (16) and at a neutral contest against Long Beach State (18)...hit a career-best .545 against Nevada, recording 13 kills on 22 swings (one error)...hit over .400 during three additional contests (.500 vs San Jose State, .448 at San Jose State, .412 at Boise State)...accounted for 25 total blocks, including five solo and 20 assisted stops...added 50 digs, five assists and two service aces...named the Air Force Athlete of the Week twice (Oct. 28, Dec. 2).

    FRESHMAN YEAR | 2012: Received the team's Coaches' Award...saw action in 78 sets...was in the starting rotation for four matches...tallied 172 kills, which was ranked fourth on the team...recorded a career-best 18 kills against Denver...that total was the squad's third-highest single-match performance of the season...also tallied double-digit kills against Colorado (15), UNLV (13), Washington State (11), Boise State (10) and during both matches with Nevada (11 each)...added 23 total blocks, including two solo stops (against San Diego State, at Wyoming)...recorded a career-best five assisted blocks against Colorado...recorded only service ace of the season in that match...hit a season-best .462 average against Army, collecting seven kills on 13 attempts with just one error...also led the team in hitting against Boise State (.261) and UNLV (.200)...collected 39 digs, highlighted by a six-dig output at Boise State...added three assists, with one helper each against Norfolk State, San Diego State and Wyoming.
