Air Force volleyball juniors Akokwe Clement and Taylor Parker were honored by the Mountain West this morning (Dec. 1), as Clement was voted to the all-conference team and Parker was selected as all-MW honorable mention.
The Air Force volleyball team closed out the 2014 season with a 3-0 loss to New Mexico on Tuesday, Nov. 25, in Albuquerque. Freshman Shelley Spires and junior Taylor Parker paced the team in kills (10) and blocks (4), respectively, as the Falcons dropped 20-25, 16-25, 18-25 sets to the host Lobos.
The Air Force volleyball team concludes the 2014 season this week, when it travels to Albuquerque to face travel-partner New Mexico on Tuesday, Nov. 25. The Mountain West contest, slated to begin at 7:00 p.m., is the only meeting of the season between the two schools.
Backed by an Academy-best 35 blocks, the Air Force volleyball team closed out its 2014 home slate with a 3-2 win over Fresno State on Wednesday, Nov. 19. In their only matchup of the season, the Falcons defeated the Bulldogs by a 25-17, 22-25, 25-20, 22-25, 15-7 margin to finish the home season with a winning (9-8) record.
The Air Force volleyball team closes out its home schedule this week with a single contest at the Academy's Cadet East Gym. The Falcons will host Fresno State on Wednesday, Nov. 19, in the only meeting of the season between the two schools. Action is slated to begin at 6:00 p.m.
