Air Force Falls to Denver in Straight Sets

The Air Force volleyball team suffered its first three-set loss of the season tonight (Sept. 16), as it fell to Denver in straight 28-30, 16-25, 20-25 sets. Juniors Akokwe Clement and Taylor Parker combined for half of the Falcons' 44 kills, as Air Force edged the Pioneers in that statistical category by a 44-41 margin.

Falcons Fall to Omaha in Five-Set Heartbreaker

The Air Force volleyball team's four-match win streak came to an end this morning (Sept. 13), following a tough 3-2 loss to Omaha at the Billiken Classic in St. Louis. Despite taking the first two sets 25-15, 25-20, the Falcons dropped the final three by 25-23, 25-20, 15-12 margins to fall to 5-4 on the year.

Air Force Claims 3-0 Victory over Canisius

Backed by a strong overall attacking performance, the Air Force volleyball team opened the Billiken Invitational with a 3-0 sweep of Canisius on Friday, Sept. 12, in St. Louis. Hitting .352 for the match, the Falcons easily defeated the Griffins in 25-19, 25-20, 25-13 sets.
