The Air Force volleyball team will compete in four tournaments along the Front Range during the spring season, head coach Matt McShane announced. The Falcons' spring season begins next Saturday (March 16) with a home tournament.

Three members of the 2012 Air Force volleyball team were named to the Mountain West Academic All-Conference Team, the league office announced today (Jan. 31). Senior Maiya Perich paced the trio with her fourth straight academic all-conference selection.

Air Force sophomore Hillary Keltner was named the MVP of the Falcons' volleyball team during the program's annual awards banquet on Saturday, Dec. 1, at the Falcon Stadium Press Box. Keltner's award was one of four team honors handed out by the Falcons' coaching staff.

The Air Force volleyball team closed out the 2012 season with a 3-0 loss to UNLV on Friday, Nov. 23, in Las Vegas, Nev. The Falcons, who finished with their most wins (9) since the 2003 season, fell in straight 19-25, 15-25, 19-25 sets to the host Rebels.

Despite a match-best 13 kills from freshman Felicia Clement, the Air Force volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision to Fresno State on Wednesday, Nov. 21. Competing in Fresno, Calif., for the first time as Mountain West opponents, the Falcons fell in 25-14, 25-16, 25-18 sets to the Bulldogs.
