The Mountain West Conference named 16 men and nine women Air Force Academy track athletes to their 2001 Academic All-Conference team today. To be eligible for selection to the academic team, a student-athlete must have completed at least one academic term at the member institution, maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better and be a starter or significant contributor to the team. (more) Lankford Has Banner Day At Colorado State Meet Erica Lankford won the triple jump (38'1 ½"), placed second in the 100- meter hurdles (14.51) and fifth in the long jump (17' 9 ½").
