Bushey, Walker Eliminated From ITA Regional Tournament

    Air Force women's tennis players Kat Bushey and Karissa Walker split a pair of doubles matches Friday at the Wilson/ITA Region V Championships in Tulsa, Okla. The Falcon team defeated Beth Chermel and Danielle Uscinski of Idaho State, 8-2, in the round of 32 before falling to the second-seeded team of Yanick Dullens and Suzana Maksovic from Denver, 8-1, in the round of 16.

    Bushey was also eliminated from the singles competition when she lost to Anna Exeni of Wichita State in the consolation bracket. No score was reported.

    The tournament completes the fall season for the Falcons. Air Force opens its dual match play in the spring on Friday, Feb. 4 against UTEP in El Paso, Texas.
