Falcon Doubles Team Makes Quarterfinals


    Air Force senior Kat Bushey and freshman Christine Abayan advanced to the quarterfinals of the 2005 Wilson/ITA Central Region Doubles Championships Friday with their third straight victory. The Falcon duo defeated Emily Kwok and Leigh Walsh of Utah, 9-8, in the round of 16.
    Bushey and Abayan improved to 11-3 this fall and will face Megan Bjorkman and Hadley McFarlane of Boise State in the quarters on Saturday at 1:30 p.m.
    Bushey advanced in the consolation round of singles Friday, defeating Nuria Lozano of Montana State, 6-1, 6-1.
