    Doubles Bracket Get Acrobat Reader

    The Air Force women's tennis team will send eight players to the 2011 Duck Invitational, beginning Friday, Oct. 21 in Eugene, Ore. The Falcons will join players from five other schools in the region for the five-day tournament.

    Junior Melissa Cecil is seeded second in the singles bracket and is part of the top-seeded doubles team with senior Tahlia Smoke. They received a first-round bye and will play at 9 a.m. on Friday. Junior Hannah Dake and sophomore Tasha Hueffner will also play doubles together, as will junior Christine Molina and freshman Tiffany Tran and freshmen Marcelli Magday and Natsha Rizvi.

    The other teams joining the Falcons in Eugene are the host school Oregon, New Mexico, Portland, Portland State and Eastern Washington. Two rounds of doubles and one round of singles are scheduled for Friday.
