Wilson Falls at Region Championships


    Air Force sophomore Lauren Wilson was eliminated from the 2005 Wilson/ITA Central Region Championships Wednesday in Salt Lake City, Utah. Wilson dropped a 6-2, 6-1 decision to Cheyenne Reveche of Utah in the first round of the qualifying draw.
    The Falcons still have two players in the tournament, however. Senior Kat Bushey is in the main draw for singles and will play the ninth-seed, Monica Milewski of Colorado, in the first round on Thursday, Oct. 20 at 11:30 a.m.
    Bushey is also in the doubles competition with freshman Christine Abayan. They play Brittany Brown and Christine Skoda of Kansas in the first round on Thursday at 3:30 p.m.
