    The Air Force women's tennis team wrapped up the 2004 USAFA Fall Invitational Saturday at the Academy. Sophomore Liza Vaccaro posted Air Force's best finish, placing second in Flight 6, while junior Kat Bushey took fourth place in the top flight, and freshman Lauren Wilson took fifth-place in Flight 3.

    "Liza Vaccaro played great this weekend," said Air Force head coach Kim Gidley. "She has come a long way, but can go a whole lot further and I would expect her to do so in the future. Lauren Wilson also had an outstanding tournament for us."

    Wilson defeated Jasmin Singh of Colorado State, 6-2, 6-1 to claim fifth place, while Vaccaro won two of her three matches in Flight 6.

    Air Force's fall season wraps up later this month as Bushey and sophomore Karissa Walker will participate in the ITA Central Region Tournament in Tulsa, Okla., Oct. 20-24.
