Falcons Play in College of Charleston Shootout This Weekend

The Air Force women's tennis team continues its fall schedule this weekend at the College of Charleston Shootout in Charleston, S.C. The three-day tournament will begin on Friday, Oct. 5. Joining the Falcons and host College of Charleston are Charleston Southern and South Carolina State.

Eight of the nine Falcons have at least a .500 record or better in singles so far this fall. Senior Lauren Wilson, junior Christine Abayan and freshman Sarah Cassman lead the way, each sporting a 4-3 record. In doubles, Wilson and senior Erika Shortridge, who went 3-1 at the Wyoming Cowgirl Invitational earlier this season, top the team with a 4-4 overall record.
