    The Air Force women's tennis team hosts the 2008 USAFA Invitational this weekend at the Academy. The two-day tournament begins Friday, Oct. 3 at the Academy's outdoor tennis facility. Play starts at 9 a.m., Friday and 8 a.m., Saturday and admission is free to all fans. Two rounds of singles and doubles will be played each day.

    Joining the Falcons this weekend are players from Colorado, Colorado State, Denver, Northern Colorado, Tulsa and Wyoming.

    Air Force senior Christine Abayan and sophomore Christen Monreal will play in the top singles flight. Abayan will face Rebecca Berger of Wyoming in the first round, while Monreal received a bye and will face the winner of Colorado State's Caitlin Fluegge and Tabitha Knop of Northern Colorado in the quarterfinals.
