    The Air Force women's tennis team hosts the 2010 USAFA Invitational this weekend at the Academy. The three-day tournament begins Friday, Oct. 1 at the Academy's outdoor tennis facility. Play starts at 8 a.m. each day and admission is free to all fans.

    Joining the Falcons this weekend are players from Arizona, Colorado, Colorado State, Eastern Michigan, Iowa State, New Mexico, Northern Colorado, Oklahoma State, Oregon, UNC-Greensboro and Wyoming.

    Air Force senior Christen Monreal will play in the top singles flight. She will face Malika Rose of Oklahoma State in the first round at 10:30 a.m. on Friday.

    All three Falcon doubles teams will be on the court at 8 a.m. Friday morning. Junior Tahlia Smoke and sophomore Melissa Cecil will play in the top doubles flight and face Stephanie Catlin and Elizabeth Tapia of Northern Colorado in the first round. Monreal and freshman Anastasia Hueffner will play Tori Arneson and Lauren Pick of MWC-rival Colorado State in the No. 2 flight, while senior Sarah Cassman and junior Megumi Voight will take on Northern Colorado's Jill Kappell and Adriana Nieto in the No. 3 flight.
