Seniors Lauren Wilson and Erika Shortridge completed play Sunday at the Maryland Invitational in College Park, Md. Each player played one singles match and the pair played on doubles match.

Wilson improved to 2-2 during the weekend after defeating Vicki Pulido, the fourth-seed in her flight, 6-2, 6-3 in the back draw of "B" flight. Shortridge, meanwhile, lost to Jessica Ahn of Army, 6-0, 6-0, in the consolation round of "D" flight.

The pair dropped their doubles match to the "B" flight top-seeded duo of Jill Hastenrath and Mary Claire Slade from Auburn, 8-1.

The Falcons take a week off before competing in the College of Charleston Invitational, Oct. 5-7.
