Falcons Play at Navy Tournament This Weekend

    The Air Force women's tennis team continues its 2013 fall season this weekend at the fifth annual Bill and Sandra Moore Invitational at the Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md. The three-day event, played at the Brigade Sports Complex, starts on Friday, Sept. 20 with matches beginning at 12 p.m. (ET) on Friday and 9 a.m. both Saturday and Sunday.

    Joining Air Force and host Navy at the tournament are Fairleigh Dickinson, George Mason, Loyola, Monmouth, Pittsburgh, St. Bonaventure and Towson. The Falcons will send eight players to Annapolis, they are senior Anastasia Hueffner, juniors Marcelli Magday, Natasha Rizvi and Tiffany Tran, sophomore Mary Meyers and freshmen Chloe and Lily Forlini and Jocelle Rudico.

    Air Force won four dual matches at the Academy last weekend. The Falcons won three of the matches by a 7-0 score (UT-Permian Basin, Fort Hays State and Metro State) and one 6-1 (CSU-Pueblo).
