    The Air Force women's tennis team opens its 2009-10 campaign this weekend at the 6th annual College of Charleston Invitational at the Patriots Point Tennis Center. Action begins on Friday, Sept. 18th and will conclude on Sunday, Sept 20.

    Seven programs will take part in this year's C of C Invitational. Joining AFA and the host Cougars are North Florida, Charleston Southern, Davidson, Coastal Carolina and UNC Charlotte.

    The Falcons return seven players from last year's team and have added five freshmen for the 2009 fall season. Air Force head coach Kim Gidley enters her 12th season at the helm of the women's tennis program.
