Air Force women's tennis head coach Kim Gidley is scheduled to participate in a tennis clinic for the athletes and their families competing in the 2013 Warrior Games on Tuesday, May 14 at the Air Force Academy Indoor Tennis Courts, located in the Cadet Gym.

Gidley and members of the AFA women’s tennis team will assist the national wheelchair coaches and volunteers from the United States Tennis Association (USTA). Four tennis training stations will be set-up with various activities to introduce sailors, coast guardsmen and soldiers to the lifelong sport of tennis. As part of the White House Joining Forces Initiative, the USTA is spreading the word that service members, veterans and their families have an opportunity to play tennis both competitively and socially no matter what level, ability, age, or socioeconomic situation.

The training will take place from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. on Tuesday. For further information, please contact Robin Jones, USTA National Military Outreach Consultant, at 919-622-7277 or rjones@usta.com.
