Seniors Christine Molina, Melissa Cecil and Hannah Dake were named to the all-Mountain West women’s tennis team Thursday night at the conference’s banquet in Colorado Springs. Molina was selected for singles for the second straight year, while Cecil and Dake were selected as a doubles team. Cecil was selected for the second consecutive season and it is the first selection for Dake.

Molina has 16 overall singles victories this season and nine at the No. 1 position. She is the first Falcon to earn back-to-back all-conference honors since Laura Nigro in 2003 and ’04.

Cecil and Dake, meanwhile, are 25-11 in doubles this season and 13-8 at the No. 1 position this spring. They posted a 4-4 record against league opponents at the top spot. Cecil is the first Air Force player to make consecutive all-conference doubles teams since Laura Nigro and Gina Black in 2003 and ‘04.

UNLV's Aleksanda Josifoska was named Player of the Year, while Fresno State’s Rana Sherif Ahmed earned Mountain West Freshman of the Year honors.

The Falcons battle UNLV in the quarterfinals of the Mountain West Championships on Friday at the Academy, beginning at 2 p.m.
