Falcons Host Wyoming in Final Regular Season Match

The Air Force women's tennis team hosts the University of Wyoming in its 2010 regular season on Saturday, April 24 against at the Academy. The match will begin at 2 p.m. on the indoor tennis courts located inside the Cadet Gymnasium. The Falcons, 16-10 overall and 2-5 in the Mountain West Conference, are looking to win three conference matches in one season first the first time since joining the MWC in 2000. Air Force is currently in seventh place in the conference standings. Wyoming, meanwhile, is 13-7 overall and 4-3 in league play. Senior Erlyn Rudico will be honored prior to her final home match. Rudico has won 24 singles matches and 38 doubles matches in her career. She is a two-time Intercollegiate Tennis Association Scholar-Athlete and a three-time academic all-Mountain West Conference selection. Rudico's first assignment following her graduation will be with the Admissions Department at the Academy. Air Force will travel to Las Vegas next week for the 2010 Mountain West Conference Championships. The Falcons play their first match in the quarterfinals on Thursday, April 29.
