Falcons Play Two MWC Matches in San Diego This Weekend

    The Air Force women's tennis team travels to San Diego, Calif., for a pair of Mountain West Conference matches this weekend. The Falcons will face San Diego State on Saturday, April 17 at 2 p.m., then battle UNLV on Sunday, April 18 at 10 a.m. Both matches will be played at the Aztec Tennis Center.

    Air Force enters the weekend with a 16-8 overall and a 2-3 mark in the MWC, good for seventh place in the league standings. The Falcons are coming off a 5-2 win over Colorado State at home last Sunday.

    San Diego State, ranked 75th in the nation, is 10-9 overall and 3-3 in league play after defeating Colorado State, 6-1, on Thursday. The Aztecs host Wyoming on Friday. UNLV, meanwhile, is 17-3 overall and 4-1 in conference action. The Rebels are ranked No. 36 in the country.
