The Air Force women's tennis team hosts three matches at the Academy this weekend, including two against nationally-ranked Mountain West Conference opponents. The Falcons host 46th-ranked UNLV on Friday, April 3 at 3 p.m., then two matches on Sunday, April 5 against No. 37 San Diego State and CSU-Pueblo.

If the matches can be played outdoors, the San Diego State match is scheduled for 9 a.m. and the CSU-Pueblo match is scheduled for 3 p.m., but if the matches need to be moved indoors due to inclement weather, the SDSU match will begin at 8 a.m. and the CSU-Pueblo match at 4 p.m. Time updates will be posted on www.goairforcefalcons.com on Saturday.

Air Force enters the weekend with a 9-11 overall record and an 0-3 mark in league play after dropping a pair of conference matches last week at BYU (7-0) and Utah (6-1). Senior Christine Abayan posted the Falcons' lone victory, winning the No. 2 singles match against Utah's Leigh Walsh, 6-4, 6-4. Abayan, the only senior on the team, will be playing her final matches at the Academy. She enters the weekend with 53 singles victories and 67 doubles wins in her career.

UNLV is 12-6 and a perfect 3-0 in MWC play after sweeping three matches last weekend, including upsets over No. 29 San Diego State and No. 32 TCU. The Rebels, who are tied for first in the conference with BYU and Utah, also defeated New Mexico.

San Diego State is 12-5 overall and 1-2 in the league. The Aztecs defeated UNM last weekend, but fell to UNLV and TCU.
