Falcons to Play Wyoming and CSU This Weekend

The Air Force women's tennis team continues Mountain West Conference play this weekend with a pair of matches in Laramie, Wyo. The Falcons will play the University of Wyoming on Saturday, April 2 at 12 p.m., then battle Colorado State on Sunday, April 3 at 2 p.m.

The Falcons are 8-9 overall and 0-2 in conference play after losing matches to San Diego State (6-1) and UNLV (7-0) last weekend in Las Vegas, Nev. Senior Miclynn Crail posted the only individual victory, defeating SDSU's Carla Bell, 6-1, 6-4, at No. 6 singles.

Wyoming and Colorado State are also in search of their first conference victory of the season. Wyoming is 7-7 overall and 0-2 in the MWC while the Rams are 9-4 and 0-2 in the conference.

Air Force head coach Kim Gidley needs just two victories to become the first coach in program history to post 100 wins in a career. She enters the weekend with a career record of 98-82 in her seventh season at the Academy.
