Falcons Play UNM and TCU This Weekend

    The Air Force women's tennis team plays a couple of nationally ranked Mountain West Conference opponents this weekend in Fort Worth, Texas. The Falcons, 5-13 overall and 0-1 in the MWC, battle No. 53 New Mexico on Friday, March 28 at 2 p.m. (CT) then No. 22 TCU on Saturday, March 29 at 10 a.m. (CT).

    Air Force, which lost to Wyoming, 5-2, on Feb. 3 in its MWC opener, is coming off a 5-2 loss to Stetson University on Monday in Florida.

    Falcon freshmen have been outstanding so far this season. Christen Monreal (9-4 in dual matches) and Sarah Cassman (8-7 in dual matches) each won her singles match on Monday against Stetson and are two of only three Falcons with a winning singles record in dual match play this spring. In addition, freshman Katrina Eromin is 4-4 in dual matches.

    The Falcons return home for two matches next weekend, against Utah on Thursday, April 3 and BYU on Friday, April 4.
