    The Air Force women's tennis team returns to action after a three-week layoff and continues Mountain West Conference action with a couple of matches in Utah this weekend. The Falcons, 9-9 overall and 0-1 in league play, play at BYU on Saturday, March 28 at 12 p.m., and at Utah on Sunday, March 29 at 11 a.m.

    Air Force's last match was at Wyoming on March 7, a 5-2 defeat to the Cowgirls. Sophomore Sarah Cassman and freshman Shannon Young each won her singles match against UW. Cassman is second on the team with 18 overall singles wins, one behind fellow sophomore Christen Monreal, who is 8-2 at the No. 2 position and trying to win 20 matches for the second consecutive season.

    In doubles play, Monreal and freshman Allie Chermel are 10-3 this spring, 5-3 at the No. 2 position and a perfect 5-0 at the No. 3 spot.

    Air Force continues MWC play next weekend with two home matches against UNLV and San Diego State.
