Falcons Play Three Matches This Weekend, Including CSU on Sunday


    The Air Force women's tennis team hosts three matches this weekend at the Academy, including a Mountain West Conference matchup against Colorado State on Sunday, March 12 at 1 p.m. The match was originally scheduled for April 16, but has been moved to this weekend. On Saturday, March 11, the Falcons will play UTEP at 9 a.m., and Metro State at 1 p.m.

    Air Force (5-9, 1-0 MWC) defeated Wyoming, 4-3, last weekend in the MWC opener for each team. Senior Kat Bushey led the way by winning the No. 1 singles match over Patricia Chien, 6-4, 6-1, and the No. 1 doubles match with freshman Christine Abayan. Bushey and Abayan are 21-8 overall and 9-4 at the top doubles spot.
