Air Force junior Tahlia Smoke has been selected as the MWC Women's Tennis Player of the Week. This is the second weekly honor for Smoke this season.

A product of Belmar, N.J., Smoke went a combined 8-0 last weekend as Air Force went 4-0 against Dayton (W, 5-2), West Virginia State (W, 7-0), Ball State (W, 6-1) and Robert Morris (W, 6-0). Smoke won all four of her singles matches in straight sets, including three of them at the No. 1 singles position. In other action, the junior also teamed with partner Melissa Cecil to secure four victories at the top of the doubles lineup.

Smoke is 12-1 in singles play this spring.

Air Force (12-2) takes a 12-match winning streak to Iowa this weekend for matches against Iowa State (Saturday, March 5) and Drake (Sunday, March 6).
