Falcons Host Two Matches on Saturday

    The Air Force women's tennis team plays a pair of matches at home this Saturday, Feb. 12. The Falcons, who have a five-match winning streak, will face Wofford at 1:30 p.m. and South Dakota at 6 p.m. Both matches will be played on the AFA Indoor Tennis Courts and are free to the public.

    Air Force is 5-2 after sweeping three matches last weekend in Bozeman, Mont. The Falcons defeated Montana State, Montana and Gonzaga, each by a 5-2 score. Junior Tahlia Smoke led the team by going 5-1 during the weekend and was named the Mountain West Conference Player of the Week and the AFA Athlete of the Week. Smoke is 5-1 in singles and doubles this season.

    Wofford enters the weekend with a 2-1 record and will face Colorado State at 8 a.m. on Saturday. South Dakota, meanwhile, is 5-1 entering its match on Friday against Colorado State.
