The Air Force women’s tennis team continues its non-conference schedule with a pair of road matches this weekend. The Falcons, 3-2 this spring, will play the University of Colorado at 10 a.m. at the Rocky Mountain Tennis Center (Millenium Harvest House) in Boulder on Saturday, Feb. 1 and at Northern Colorado in Greeley on Sunday, Feb. 2 at 1 p.m.
Air Force lost two of three matches in California last weekend, defeating UC Riverside 6-1 and falling to Cal State Fullerton and Cal State Northridge by a 4-3 score.
The Falcons posted their first-ever victory in 14 matches last season against Colorado, winning 4-3 at the Academy in the season-opener. CU holds a 7-0 advantage over AFA in Boulder.
Junior Marcelli Magday and freshman Tracy Landram lead the team with 15 singles victories apiece, while Magday and junior Natasha Rizvi, the 10-th ranked doubles team in the Mountain Region, are 17-4 so far this season.
