Falcons Host Three Matches This Weekend

The Air Force women's tennis team opens the home portion of its 2010 spring schedule with three matches at the Academy this weekend. Air Force will battle Seattle University and Gonzaga on Friday, Jan. 22 at 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., respectively, and South Dakota at 12 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 23. The Falcons are 0-1 after dropping their spring opener last Saturday to the University of Colorado, 6-1. Sophomore Tahlia Smoke posted AFA's lone win against the Buffs, winning the No. 5 singles match. Smoke, who is ranked #102 in the country, was named the Mountain West Conference Player of the Week. All matches will take place on AFA's indoor courts located in the Cadet Gymnasium and admission is free.
