Falcons Finish Day One at harvard Invitational

The Air Force women's tennis team completed the first day of the Harvard Invitational Friday at the Murr Tennis Center in Cambridge, Mass. The Falcons were swept in doubles play by Harvard and Syracuse and junior Megumi Voight was the only Falcon victor in singles play against Cornell. Voight pulled out a thrilling three-set victory over Cornell's Elizabeth Kaufman, 6-3, 2-6, (11-9). Three of the other four matches, all Cornell wins, also went to a third-set supertiebreaker, with Air Force winning the second set in all three. The tournament continues on Saturday as Air Force will play doubles against Brown University and singles against Harvard.
