Wilson Captures Third Place at Houston Quad

    Junior Lauren Wilson captured third place in flight B Sunday as the Air Force women's tennis team wrapped up its fall schedule at the Houston Quad Tournament in Houston, Texas. Wilson had the highest finish of any Falcon by defeating Paulina Zuniga of New Mexico State, 7-5, 6-1.

    Sophomore Meghan Kiser won the fifth-place match in flight B with an exciting 3-6, 6-1, 12-10 victory over Rebecca Franzi of Houston.

    Senior Kelly Morgan also won for Air Force on Sunday, defeating Elisa Leeder of Lee College, 9-8.

    The Falcons open their spring schedule on Tuesday, Jan. 23 by hosting the University of Colorado at 4:30 p.m.
