"This was another great tournament for our team," said Air Force head coach Kim Gidley. "It was really great to see the leadership of the seniors on and off the court and lead the way. Hannah defeated a regionally ranked singles player and Melissa Cecil beat a Big 10 player from Illinois and then MWC rival Colorado State, both in straight sets. This was the strongest tournament we have played to date, with Pac-12, Big 10 and Big 12 schools. To win a singles and a doubles flight was outstanding for us."

The Falcons play at the ITA Mountain Regionals in Las Vegas, Nev., beginning Wednesday, Oct. 10.
