Junior Megumi Voight completed her romp through the No. 6 singles flight Sunday with a straight-set victory over Carly Van Hollen of Wyoming on the final day of the 2010 USAFA Invitational at the Academy. Voight, who did not lose a set in her three matches, downed Van Hollen, 6-0, 6-2, to capture the flight title.

Senior Sarah Cassman and junior Tahlia Smoke also won on Sunday. Cassman defeated Jennifer Buchanon of Northern Colorado, 6-0, 6-2, while Smoke beat Mikayla Rogers of UNC-Greensboro, 6-3, 6-3.

"Overall I was very pleased with our effort," said Air Force head coach Kim Gidley. "The fight from all members of the team was evident as we battled back in many matches and showed a lot of heart. I was especially pleased with Megumi this weekend, winning her flight without losing a set, which is really tough to do."
