2nd Lt. Brooke Parsons joins the women's tennis coaching staff this season as an assistant coach following a stellar four-year career with the Falcons.

Parsons graduated from the Academy in June 2002 with a degree in behavioral science. Her 3.09 grade-point average placed her on the 2002 MWC all-academic team.

The Erwin, Tenn., native capped her career at Air Force with an outstanding senior campaign in which she posted a 26-7 overall singles record, including a 20-4 mark in dual matches at No. 1 singles. Her 6-1 record against conference opponents was the best among MWC No. 1 singles players.

She was the first Air Force player to be named all-conference in singles and doubles since the program moved to Division I in 1996, and earned the Academy's prestigious Athletic Excellence Award, which is given to the cadet who has demonstrated athletic excellence by his or her participation in one or more intercollegiate sports.

She was also honored for her conduct on the court, receiving the Cissie Leary/ITA Sportsmanship Award for the Central Region and was one of eight finalists for the national sportsmanship award.

Parsons won 86 singles matches in her career, more than any other Falcon since four-time Division II All-American Laura Simmons won 98 between 1991-95.
