75 cadet-athletes earn Mountain West all-academic honors

The 75 honorees is the third most since the Falcons joined the MW in 1999-2000

2015-16 (Junior)

Posted a 21-19 overall record in singles … second time in her career she’s won 20 or more singles matches in a season … went 13-12 in dual matches and 8-7 in tournaments … recorded a 19-19 overall doubles record, including a 9-8 mark in tournament play.


2014-15 (Sophomore)

Posted a 17-17 record in singles and 21-10 in doubles…11-11 dual match in singles and 15-6 in doubles…in singles most of her matches came at the No. 5 position and in doubles at the No. 2 position…she was 6-6 in tournament play…with doubles partner Mary Meyers, they posted a 12-4 record with a dual match record of 12-4…most of their matches came at the No. 2 position.


2013-14 (Freshman)

Went 20-7 in singles and 23-10 in doubles … one of three players on the team with 20 wins in each … posted a 12-4 dual match record in singles, including a 9-3 mark at the No. 5 position … tied for second on the team with eight singles wins during the fall tournament season … posted a 15-7 doubles record with her twin sister, Chloe … they went 8-4 during the fall and 7-3 in dual matches, including a 7-2 mark at the No. 3 spot … also went 8-3 with Tiffany Tran, including a 7-3 record at the No. 2 spot … advanced to the semifinals of her flight at the Navy Tournament … won her first two matches in the main draw at the ITA Regional Tournament ... member of Mountain West all-academic team.   


Before Air Force

Four-year letterwinner in tennis … helped team to four league and section titles … four-time first-team all-conference selection … won four consecutive sectional doubles championships with her twin sister, Chloe … team MVP and captain for two years … member of International Baccalaureate program … high school tennis coach was Rory Woods.



Parents are Todd and Laura Forlini ... has one brother and one sister … her twin sister, Chloe, also plays tennis at the Air Force Academy … her grandfather, Ren Hart, graduated from West Point in 1956 … completed the Powered Flight program last summer … did a flyover at the Academy … also worked as a flight commander during Basic Cadet Training … went to France as part of the Cadet Summer Language Immersion Program in the summer of 2015 … Operations Air Force at Randolph AFB, San Antonio, TX where she rode in a T-38 ... also watched a brain surgery in the hospital ... worked as second basic cadet training as a Cadre, Element Leader… helped lead the #1 flight of Basics in BCT… she is the honor officer, element leader and public affairs officer in her squadron ... member of the commandant’s and dean’s lists last fall and the athletics list … would like to attend pilot training following her time at the Academy ... hobby is playing tennis with her family … favorite food is watermelon ... favorite movie is Interstellar ... favorite book is Ender’s Game ... advice to young people would be to take advantage of every opportunity even if at the time it’s something you don’t want to do because the experience will be the most rewarding part … member of cadet squadron 20.
